    My career as a fitness expert started while I was in college - I earned my personal trainer certification and began working at various gyms & studios while continuing to build my skills as a fitness professional. I've been with Fitness Together over 8 years and really believe the individualized setting and personal approach are key factors in helping our clients reach their goals. I've loved building strong relationships with clients and being a part of their journey towards a healthier lifestyle. I'm a firm believer that a healthier life is a huge factor to living a happier life. To live a healthier life requires an emphasis on functional fitness and this has led me to specialize in working with clients who have a history of orthopedic issues - anything can be worked around with the right level of expertise!

    I first met with Billy Pratt towards the end of 2014 to gain some insight into how I can really make an impact in this field - when I saw his Fitness Coach ad in January 2019 I contacted him again because I really enjoy the idea of helping people in a fully-private setting. Prior to this, I was a performing arts manager for 17 years with a crazy-busy schedule. This experience allows me to help others with crazy schedules to build healthy habits in the midst of "chaos". I believe that a healthy lifestyle is the best "medicine" one can take and it has the very best side effects of more energy, a leaner figure, and in some cases, a reduction in the need for medications that are frequently prescribed for conditions including anxiety/stress disorders, insomnia, heart conditions, high blood pressure, allergies, arthritis, diabetes and metabolic disorders.

    I am often asked what hobbies and likes I have; while this may sound cheesy my favorite hobby really is my work ("when you love what you do you don't work a day in your life"). But aside from that I enjoy playing the guitar, snowboarding, running, and doing charity work when given the opportunity. Since joining the Fitness Together family in 2020 I have built up a nice client base and am looking to continue building on that. Me and my significant other are looking at possibly starting a family with the ultimate goal (MANY years down the road) of retiring to a quiet mountain town in Colorado (I did a lot of fitness instruction when out there and have many fond memories of that part of the country).

I started off majoring in Kinesiology but switched to a broader emphasis in Exercise Science after realizing that helping people become fitter would require a more diversified knowledge base. Whether your goal is to move with less pain, pick up your grandkids, excel at your sport, or get toned - strength training is the key! I enjoy guiding people on how to take that first step. I would love to work my way up in the industry and build my client base at FT so I can help more people over time get in the best shape of their life!
